Michel Cannon

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, June 1, 2020 at Terpening & Son Chapel for Michel Troy Cannon of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Cannon, 58, died May 26, 2020 at his home in Artesia, NM.

Scott Pettus will officiate at the services. Cremation will follow the services.

Michel was born September 28, 1961 in Yuma Arizona; the son of James Cannon and Carol Inman Cannon.

Michel fought many battles with his health throughout his entire life, but despite that, he was always cheerful, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed painting, and when he was able, he loved going dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Anthony Cannon and a grandchild Jordyn Kirk.

Survivors include his daughters Jennifer Cannon and wife Jenn of Trenton, Missouri, Amanda Kimmons and husband Jason of Artesia, and Samantha Cannon and husband Sean of Artesia; a son Matthew Cannon of Trenton; brothers Steve Cannon of Salem, Missouri, and Keith Cannon of Artesia; sisters Debbie Cannon of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Diane Cannon of Salem; grandchildren Harper, Indie, and June Kimmons, Tegan and Jesse Kirk, Elizabeth , Madison and Quinton Cannon, Julianna and Colyn Lucas.
