Michael Cordova

Memorial Services are scheduled at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Aug. 4,at First Presbyterian Church for Michael Jacob Cordova, 2411 Loma Drive, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Cordova, 29, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son.

Michael was born October 26, 1982 in Alamogordo, New Mexico the son of Anthony Cordova and Pamela King. He came to Artesia in 1998 from Carlsbad.

He was a college student and attended Oasis Christian Fellowship, member F.C.A., played baseball with Carlsbad and Artesia high school teams, as well as soccer in Artesia, was NorthSouth Baseball Allstar and played baseball at Eastern N.M. Univ. in Portales.

Survivors include mother Pamela King of Kerrville, Texas father Anthony Cordova of Carlsbad brother Joshua Kaine Bly of Karen Crow, Louisiana sisters Shelly Brooke Armstrong of Spring, Texas, Jennifer Kaye Giles of Artesia, and Erin Sanders of Salt Lake City, Utah grandparents Nila and Bill King of Kerrville, and Estella Cordova of Carlsbad numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, great aunt and uncle Jack and Jane Reid.
