Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, at Woodbine Cemetery for Maxine Jackson of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Jackson, 89, died March 4, 2020 in Artesia.

Pastor Michael Elliot will officiate at the services at Woodbine Cemetery.

Maxine was born April 29,1930 in Hydro OK to Artie McAnally and Alma Couch McAnally.
On September 30, 1952 she was married to William M. (Bill) Jackson in Artesia.

Maxine (or Grummy as she was called by all her grandchildren and great grandchildren), was always laughing, smiling, and on-the-go. She loved being active, whether it was playing her weekly bridge game, playing games with her grandchildren & great grandchildren, cooking delicious meals, sewing, or RV’ing! In her younger years, she could be seen teaching a group of 4H girls the art of sewing. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the annual Little League World Series. Her laugh, warm smile, and comforting hugs will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a daughter in law Robin Jackson.

She is survived by her husband William M. Jackson of Artesia; a son David Jackson of Artesia; daughters Jeanne Ferguson of Artesia, and Jamie Rollins and husband Kelly of Artesia; a brother Bob McAnally and wife Nell of Tulsa OK, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
