Mary Vann

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at Terpening amp; Son Chapel for Mary Lynn Vann, Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Vann, 59, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at her home. PJ.T. Ross will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Phipps, Clay Wright, Rodney Vann, Andy Vann, Jacob Vann, and Matthew Vann. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. PMrs. Vann was born April 27, 1947 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Mark Anderson Corbin, Jr. and Daisy Smith Corbin. POn Sept. 25, 1965 she was married to Roy Riley Vann in Artesia. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia. PShe was a homemaker and member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and Altrusa.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Roy Riley Vann of the family home; daughter Melanie Ruth Wasserman and husband Joe of Rio Rancho, N.M.; sons Riley Anderson Vann and wife Dawn Bell of Charleston, West Virginia, Jacob Corbin Vann and wife Christina of Las Cruces, N.M., and Matthew Randel Vann of Las Cruces; sister LuAnn Corbin and husband Vladimir Mskhiladze of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandson Dylan Karr of Rio Rancho; father-in-law Roy Vann of Tyler, Texas.
