Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 31, at West Main Baptist Church for Mary Louise Stuart, 708 Runyan Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Stuart, 66, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Rev. Jason Kraft will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonard Stuart, Charles Smith, Codi Stuart, Keith Kilpatrick, Roger Kilpatrick, and Shaun Troublefield. Honorary pallbearers will be all R.S.V.P. volunteers and Advisory Council. PMrs. Stuart was born August 5, 1941 in Hugo, Oklahoma; the daughter of Lenard Fennell and Winona Boans Fennell. POn Sept. 19, 1957 she was married to Johnny Stuart in Carlsbad, N.M. She came to Artesia in 1964 from Carlsbad. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 2005. PShe was the R.S.V.P. Director. She was a member of West Main Baptist Church, Good Samaritan Helpers Club, Meals on Wheels, past member Altrusa Club, very active and involved with senior citizen organizations. PShe was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Patricia Fennell.
Survivors include son John Leonard Stuart and wife Sandra of Tatum, N.M.; daughters Nona Smith and husband Charles of Crowley, Texas, and Ramona Sue Kilpatrick and husband Roger of Avondale, Arizona; sister Bonnie Kelton and husband Larry of Carlsbad; sisters-in-law Nadine Seely of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jaunetta Parker of Carlsbad, N.M., Wanda Pfneister of Holiday, Texas, Betty Ellen Wilson of Electra, Texas and Carolyn Byrd of Ft. Worth; grandchildren Christie Troublefield and husband Shaun, Candace Maurer and husband Michael, Keith Kilpatrick and wife Staci, Courtney Kilpatrick, J.B. Stuart, Misti Stuart, and Codi Stuart; great-grandchildren Kaci Halsel, Tristen Troublefield, Dakota Maurer, Marly Maurer and Tennie Daniels; and by the West Main Baptist Church family.
