Mary Navarrette

Mary H. Navarrette, at the age of 77 passed away peacefully at home on January 6, 2023 with her family around her.

Mary was born in Artesia, New Mexico to Yisidro and Trinidad Salazar. She was married to Tom T. Navarrette for 57 years.

Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents, her child Sarah, siblings Lupe Salazar, Mike Salazar and Tomasa Sanchez.

Mary is survived by her husband Tom T. Navarrette, two sons, Thomas S. Navarrette wife Bernadette, Orlando S. Navarrette. Three daughters, Trini Valdez husband Gilberto, Irene Melendez husband Francisco and Rebecca Navarrette.

Mary had four grandchildren: Christopher Chavarria, Alexandra Chavarria, Sarah Martin husband Christian, and Antonio Navarrette. She had two great grandchildren Leo Prince Navarrette Martin and Ezekiel Rey Chavarria Cruz and one great grandchild on the way Rey Michel Navarrette.

Mary also has the surviving siblings: Gloria De Leon husband Alfonso, Vera Lopez, Molly Ramirez husband Pilar, Gina Chavarria husband Ray, Yisdro Salazar Jr. wife Tabitha and Margie Salazar.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Navarrette, Christopher Chavarria, D'Mario Chavarria, Xavian Vela, Roger Ramirez and Guadalupe Salazar.

We will have a Rosary on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church at 6:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park.
