Mary Harrison-Norrell

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13 at Faith Baptist Church Artesia, NM 20th and Grand for Mary Gail Harrison-Norrell.

Pastor Robby Ballew will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Joe Nichols, Gary Boyce, Henry Boyce, Alvis Boyce, Toby Copeland, and Raymond Copeland honorary pallbearers are family and friends.

Mary Gail Harrison-Norrell was born in Artesia, NM October 19,1938 the daughter of Henry Alvis White and Vera Gladys George White. Gail went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Artesia.

On December 23, 1964 she was married to Curtis Harrison who preceded her in death. On April 4, 2014 she was married to Bob Norrell. Gail has been a member of Faith Baptist Church for many years.

Gail Harrison was a very loving house wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Many people remember her for her hug, the flower in her hair, and her love she had for people.

Survivors include husband Bob Norrell of the family home; daughters Terry Copeland and husband Jimmy; Sherry Patman and husband Johnny; Vachel Harrison, Bobbie Neal and husband David of Florida son Larry Russell and wife Deborah of Tenn. and daughter in law Rene Norrell of Oklahoma 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grand children, and 4 great-great grand childen. Gail is survived by one brother (Bill) William Wayne White and wife Cookie of Artesia and one sister Kay Permenter and husband Bo of Washington; Brother-in-law Glynn Harrison ; sister-in-laws Joann White, Carol Harrison, Barbra Harrison Bedingfield and Eula Marie Cox Harrison Billie Sims, one aunt Mary Ellen Herron and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Harrison; her parents Henry Alvis White and Vera Gladys George White sister Zona White Humphrey and husband Bill Humphrey; two brothers Allen Ray White and Henry E (Sonny) White and wife Marylyn Bratcher White. Gail also had many friends that she loved dearly.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12 at Terpening and Son from 10am to 8pm.
