Mary Grbac

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at St. Anthonys Catholic for Mary Louise Grbac, 1104 Sears Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Grbac, 87, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at her home.

Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Spence, Danny Scott, Luigi Bratcher, Julio Perez, A.A. Klein, and Greek Economides.

A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 5 p.m. Monday.

Mary was born January 29, 1925 in Raton, New Mexico the daughter of Ramon Trueba and Beatrice Weathers Burn Trueba. She came to Artesia in 1952.

On Jan. 2, 1943 she was married to John Grbac in Raton. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2008.

She was a sales clerk at Safeway Supermarket and a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church.

Survivors include son Richard Dick Grbac and wife Suzi of Houston, Texas sistersinlaw Margie Trueba of Dallas, Texas and Mildred Trueba of Raton, N.M. niece, nephew, church family, numerous dear friends and her beloved dog Buddy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Program or the American Heart Association.
