Martha Wright

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 4, at Woodbine Cemetery for Martha Grannie Belle Wright, 108 Osborne Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Wright, 70, died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at her home. Rev. Mark Robinson will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Eddy Moore, Roy Lee Moore, R.C. Moore, Coleman Jackson, Danny Forlines and Joe Greenwood Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Mayes, Bobby Tate and A.J. Mayes. Mrs. Wright was born February 12, 1933 in Cona, Kentucky; the daughter of George Patterson and Grace Victoria Kelly Patterson. She came to Artesia in 1959 from Las Cruces, New Mexico. On Oct. 14, 1976 she was married to R.D. Wright in Artesia, NM. She was a cashier for Greggs Food Store and member of West Main Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include husband R.D. Wright of the family home; sons Edwin James Moore of Artesia, Roy Lee Moore and wife Darlene of Pine Springs, Texas, and Auther Duane Moore and wife Tammie of Neosho, Missouri; daughters Karen Forlines and husband Danny of Artesia, Kathy Greenwood and husband Joe of Artesia; brothers Clayton Patterson of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Holbert Patterson of Bryant, Alabama; sisters Georgia May Bennett of Navajo Dam, NM and Diane Gass and husband Terrell of Trenton, Georgia; grandchildren Roy C. Moore III of Artesia, Ralph Moore of Artesia, Robert Hugh Tate Ill of Pine Springs, Andrea Belle Moore of Chapparal, NM and Tiffany Moore of Jacksonville, Florida.
