Martha Lee

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at First United Methodist Church for Martha L. Lee, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Lee, 70, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her home.

Rev. Monty Leavell will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginnning at 10 a.m. Friday.

Martha was born November 16, 1943 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Virgil Harper and Lorene Crouch Harper. She was a longtime resident of Artesia.

She was a teller supervisor for Western Bank and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include daughters Shawna Hope and husband Kevin of Artesia, and Monica Bajurin and husband Chad of Las Vegas, Nevada brothers Vernon Harper of Modesto, Calif., Archie Harper of Carlsbad, NM, and Kenneth Harper of Houston, Texas sister Kathy Hampton of Conroe, Texas gandchildren Kyle Phillips, Jessica Hope and Michael Hope.
