Martha Flores

Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, at Faith Baptist Church for Martha G. Flores of Artesia.

Mrs. Flores, 59, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Jose Pereles will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

There will be visitation on Friday at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Martha was born April 13, 1956 in El Paso, TX; the daughter of Justo Sustaita and Emma (Provencio) Sustaita. She came to Artesia in 1986 from Arizona.

On July 26, 1975 she was married to Cecilio Flores in El Paso, TX.

She was a housewife and a member of Church in Artesia. She loved to cook, knit, sew and do all kinds of crafts.

Survivors include her husband Cecilio Flores of Artesia; son Moses Flores of Albuquerque; daughters Marybelle Miles of Artesia and Melissa Flores of Artesia; brothers Luis Sustaita of El Paso, Manny Sustaita of El Paso, Salvador Sustaita of Hobbs, NM, Justo Sustaita of El Paso, George Sustaita of El Paso and Pete Sustaita of El Paso; sisters Rosie Sustaita of El Paso, Eva Lopez of Albuquerque, Socorro Vasquez of El Paso, Bertha Tangonan of Mesquite, NM and Esther Corral of El Paso; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
