Martha Connor

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, at Woodbine Cemetery for Martha Lee Connor of Lake Arthur, New Mexico. PMrs. Connor, 89, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Casa Maria Nursing Center in Roswell, New Mexico. PPastor Thomas E. Ford will officiate at the services. PMrs. Connor was born April 18, 1918 in Groesbeck, Texas; the daughter of John Raglin and Brazy Jones Raglin. PShe was married to Johnnie B. Connor in Artesia, N.M. She came to Artesia in the 1930's from Texas. PShe was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. PMartha was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Johnnie B. Connor of the family home; sister Stella Mae Jones of Ft. Worth, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
