Marsha Poe

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at West Main Baptist Church for Marsha L Poe, 2804 West Avenue, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Poe, 73, died Thursday, April 15, in Roswell, New Mexico.

Jason Kraft and Gavin Vaughan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Naylor, Ray Taylor, Ron Beasley, Jim Deason and Jim McCampbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Sutton, Darrell Atkins and John Ball.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.

Mrs. Poe was born March 23, 1937 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the daughter of Dallas Golden and Gladys Waldrip Golden.

On January 22, 1956 she was married to Bill F. Poe in Artesia, NM. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He preceded her in death March 30, 2009.

She was a homemaker and member of West Main Baptist Church. She loved to cook and work in the garden.

Survivors include sons Jason Poe of Lubbock, Texas, and Jarret Poe and wife Kara of Artesia daughter Dova Cronian and husband Rob of Artesia grandchildren Christopher Cronian, Crystle Cronian, Eric Poe, Kayla Poe, Alexis Poe and Cameron Poe.
