Mark Bonneau

Services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m., Sunday May 28, at Victory Baptist Church for Mark Steven Bonneau, 1119 S. 2nd St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Bonneau, 47, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at his home. Pastor Michael A. Maurer will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Bonneau was born November 16, 1958 in El Paso, Texas; the son of Wilfred J. Bonneau and Muriel S. Tapp. He came to Artesia in the early 1990's. He was a laborer in road construction, and oil refining. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, and former member of the Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his life partner Lois Stevens. Survivors include his mother Muriel S. Tapp; father Wilfred J. Bonneau; brother Bruce Bonneau and wife Marte; sister Lisa Adkins; nephews Kelly and Bryan Bonneau; nieces Shelby Jones and Delanie Adkins; very best friend Pastor Michael A. Maurer. Mark was undeniably the most generous, compassionate and inexplicably kind-hearted soul who held an appreciation and love for nature. He held a tender, unconditional devotion and love for his friends, family and Jesus Christ. He lived his life through the Lord and helped many who sought his guidance to follow the same path. Mark was an exceptional and devoted friend to many. He was more than anyone could ask for as a son, brother and uncle to his family. Mark will be sorely missed. Comfort comes to those of us that know he is with his Savior. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church in Artesia, New Mexico.
