Mark Boling

Mark E. Boling was born in Artesia, NM on May 15, 1964 to parents Robert E. "Bob" Boling and Mary Flickinger Boling.

Mark was called to his eternal home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday September 19, 2015.

Beloved little brother to Mike Boling and Jackie Boling Jones, Janet Richardson and Jana Williams.

Mark was a graduate of Artesia High School class of 1982. Known to many as "Billy Bob" he had many many friends. He played golf and loved being an Artesia Bulldog.

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture at New Mexico State University in December of 1987.

Mark moved to Tucson, AZ and was an assistant superintendent at Vantana Canyon Golf Course.

He moved to Artesia became self-employed, ran a landscaping irrigation company.

Most recently was employed at Louden Electric, LLC as a Field Safety Agent and began with them in November of 2008 left and moved to Lubbock on May 29, 2015.

Mark's greatest joy in life was his precious daughter Savannah Boling, who currently attends South Plains College and of whom he was so proud of and loved so much.

He also had daughters Shawnee Jimenez and Darian Jimenez of whom he loved and adored.

He had as of recently become a "bonus" dad to Landon Hogle and got to experience the joy of becoming a "bonus Popz" to his granddaughter Linley Hogle whom he loved very much.

Mark reunited over four years ago with a high school classmate Stacy Moore. To their surprise, they found in one another their soulmate and truest love and were planning a lifetime of happiness. Recently married as of June 16, 2015, they resided in Lubbock, TX.

Celebration of Mark's life will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at West Main Baptist Church in Artesia. Belton Matthews will be officiating.

The viewing will be on Friday, September 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Terpening & Son Mortuary. Graveside services will be at Woodbine cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Guinan, Darin Chandler, Jeff Youtsey, Mark McCaleb, Greg Carpenter, Bobby Trujillo and Jim Butcher. Honorary pallbearers are Colin Boling, Blake Boling, Roger Jones, Lex Klein, Jim Brewer, George Moreau, Leon Coats, Bill Gray, Boyd Stewart, Art Aranda, Glenn Kaiser, Dan Lewis, Marcus White, Mark White, Randy Scott and Jim Herrick.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his daughter Darian Jimenez, his niece Emily Jones Florez and numerous aunts and uncles.

Survivors include wife Stacy Boling of Lubbock, daughters Savannah Boling of Levelland, TX and Shawnee Jimenez of San Antonio, TX; son Landon Hogle of Lubbock and granddaughter Linley Hogle; brother Mike Boling and wife Jamie of Roswell, NM and nephews Colin and Blake Boling; sister Jackie Jones and husband Roger of Artesia; niece Pam Jones Jimenez and great nieces Andrea and Gracie Jimenez; great nephew Mateo Florez and great niece Janayah Florez; also survived by his adored aunt Katie Wilson and many close cousins and family members.

Mark's wish would be for any donations to be given to the fund at Artesia Credit Union to his great niece and nephew Janayah and Mateo Florez.

Also he wanted to walk in the Heart Association Walk so any donations to American Heart Association as well.
