Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at First Baptist Church for Marjorie Ann Price, 1912 Villa Place, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Price, 82, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Vista Care Hospice in Lubbock, Texas.

Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services. Burial of the cremains will be at the Brazil Family Ranch at 10 a.m. Saturday April 2, 2011. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons David Joseph, Mark Joseph, Dr. John Fitzwater, Mike Brazil, Joseph Brazil, Stephen Brazil, L.J. Gay, Johnny Perea, and Gage Brazil.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.

Mrs. Price was born February 21, 1929 in El Paso, Texas the daughter of Clay Henry Price and Christine Rucker Price.
She was married to Joe J. Brazil Jr. in 1949 and together they had four children. She came to Artesia in 1988 from Mountainair, NM.

She was a secretary and bookkeeper. A member of First Baptist Church, attended Community Bible Study, church pianist for her church in Mountainair, Order of Eastern Star, enjoyed playing cards with her friends and gardening, loved her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, brother Ernest Price and a sister Dorothy Steed.
Survivors include sons Gregory Brazil and wife Suzan of Scholle, N.M., Wayne Brazil and wife Naomi of Artesia, and Clay Brazil and wife June of Moriarity, N.M. daughter Leah Joseph and husband Jimmy of Artesia sister Mildred Osborn of Houston, Texas 11 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren several nieces and nephews.
