Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Woodbine Cemetery for Marjorie Martin of Artesia. Belton Mathews will officiate.

Mrs. Martin, 87, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Artesia General Hospital.

Marjorie was born November 26, 1927 in Pampa, Texas; the daughter of Harry S. Wilson and Margaret (Vogel) Wilson. She was a longtime area resident.

She was a Head Cashier at First National Bank, a member of Altrusa and of Baptist denomination.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Margaret Timmons.

Survivors include her sons Richard Martin of Artesia and Ray Martin of Artesia: grandchildren Tony and Timothy Martin, Dionnah Martin and Marissa Ryan; 7 great-grandchildren; niece Linda Fisher and nephews Curtis Timmons and Glen Timmons.
