Margie was born March 27, 1931 in the mountains above Mayhill, New Mexico to Jeff and Fannie Campbell. She was raised in a hard-working family with a deep sense of love and respect for all of God's creatures. She was married in Alamogordo to George Boyse on June 11, 1949. Margie lived her life as a loving wife and partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and mentor to a multitude of friends and family.

Marjorie had many interests in her life from country music, beautiful flowers and whispering pine trees, to sewing and cooking but most especially of all, she loved her family-especially the children. Each person she touched will cherish the precious gift of her love and care. Her life was a portrait of grace, beauty, and compassion.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved Mopsy dog, and her husband, George on May 20th of 2009. Survivors include daughters Sheila Phillips and husband Dwight of Artesia, and Milda Goodlander and her husband Jim of Edgewood; brother Frank Campbell of Cloudcroft; sisters Lucille Goodlander of Artesia and JoAnn Stickle of North Canton, Ohio. Marjorie had 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family requests that donations be made to CARC Inc. (Carlsbad Association of Retarded Citizens), at P.O. Drawer 1808 in Carlsbad, NM 88221-1808 or to another favorite charity instead of sending flowers.
