Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Woodbine Cemetery for Marjie Jo Dippel, formerly of 1109 S. 3rd St., Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Dippel, 81, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. PTerry McKean will officiate at the services. No visitation is scheduled. PMrs. Dippel was born December 25, 1925 in Sudan, Texas; the daughter of W. B. Cox and Elizebeth McCormick Cox. POn Feb. 26, 1943 she was married to
Maurice Dippel in Littlefield, Texas. She came to Artesia in Sept. 1946 from Littlefield. He preceded her in death April 25, 2006.
PShe was a housewife and member of the Church of Christ. PShe was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a son Randy Dippel and wife Melanie of Artesia; grandchildren Marcus Nesbitt of Brenham, Texas, and Michelle Williams and husband Shawn of Delray, Florida; great-grandchild Cyde Williams of Delray.
