Marisela Araujo

Marisela Cristal Araujo has gone to be with the Lord and to be in peace. A funeral mass is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia, N.M.

Marisela, 20, passed away Sunday morning, April 21, 2013 in Artesia.

Fr. Paul Murtagh, SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Eliseo Catano, Jr. Hoppa, Alfredo Catano, Jr. Lil Al, Sea Jay Catano, Skye Huerta, Max Vasquez SL, Gabriel Lopez, Adrian Brito, and Steven Garcia will be carrying Marisela to her resting place. All cousins and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.

She was born July 21, 1992 to Yolanda Catano Araujo and Albino Araujo. She was an only child but was loved by many. She loved being with family and her friends making them laugh. Her passion was music.

She is survived by her parents grandmothers Angelita Acosta and Josie Catano grandfather Mack Catano her beloved friend Stephanie Candelaria aunts Rosie Araujo, Josie Baca, Elsie Bustamante, Carmen Guzman, Priscilla Bedford, Carmen Catano, Leslie Catano, Elizabeth Catano and Beverly Sweatt uncles Victor Araujo, Manuel Araujo, David Bustamante, Miguel Catano, Eliseo Catano, Israel Catano, Nacho Guzman, and Tommy Bedford and numerous cousins.
