Marilynn Rowland

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, at Woodbine Cemetery for Marilynn Kay Rowland of Loco Hills, New Mexico. PMrs. Rowland, 67, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at Heartfelt Manor in Roswell, New Mexico. PCecil Kimberlin will officiate at the services. The pallbearers will be family members. PMrs. Rowland was born February 27, 1940 in Pratt, Kansas; the daughter of Raymond Schull and Jane Ella Murdock Schull. PShe came to Artesia in 1956 from Kansas. On March 26, 1958 she was married to James L. Jabo Rowland in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death May 6, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother David Schull; and son-in-law Frankie Sanchez. PShe was a co-owner of Rowland Construction and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter Angi Sanchez and husband Donnie Mathews of Loco Hills; son Roby Rowland of Loco Hills; sisters Patricia Sipes of Hobbs, N.M., and Karilyn Fitzpatrick of Roswell; grandchildren Jessica Butler, Joshua Sanchez, Jeremy Sanchez, Tiffiny Sanchez, and Tate Rowland; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
