Marilyn Macleod

There will be a gathering of friends and family Sunday, April 11, at 12 p.m. at 308 McArthur Ave. for Marilyn P. MacLeod of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. MacLeod, 65, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at Heartland Nursing Center in Artesia, New Mexico.

Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Mrs. MacLeod was born December 9, 1944 in Decatur Alabama the daughter of Charles Kasulka and LaVerne Tanner Kasulka. She came to Artesia in 1950 from Culman, Alabama.

She worked as a sales clerk for Town and Country for many years.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include sisters Lola Hardimon of Artesia, and Sue Brown of Artesia niece Becci Hendrix of Denton, Texas nephews Charlie Williams of Artesia, Jerry Brown of Amarillo, Texas, and Chris Brown of Amarillo.
