Maria Orosco

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Maria Elena Orosco, 1006 S. Roselawn, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Orosco, 71, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Casa Maria Nursing Center in Roswell, New Mexico.

Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services. Burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Church.

Maria was born January 16, 1941 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico the daughter of Tomas Perez and Antonia Garcia Perez. She came to Artesia in 1999 from Pinon, NM.

On Sept. 3, 1981 she was married to Rafael Orosco in Roswell, NM.

She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Rafael Orosco son Francisco Orosco of Artesia brother Andres Perez sisters Martha, Angelita, and Minnie.
