Maria Morales

Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, at Primera Iglesia Bautista for Maria Louisa Morales of Artesia.

Ms. Morales, 67, passed away on November 14, 2016 at her home.

Pastor Abelardo Bolanos will officiate at the services. Cremation is under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Maria was born on September 2, 1949 in Artesia, NM; the daughter of Frutoso Morales and Dominga (Molina) Morales. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church. She enjoyed music, singing and spending time with her friends.

Survivors include her sons Jessie Brunner of Jacksonville, FL and Richard Brunner of Albuquerque, NM; sisters Cecilia Morales, Sophia Martinez and Rachel Morales all of Artesia, and Mary Ann Cavazos of Loco Hills, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
