Maria Gurule'

A Rosary is scheduled for Thursday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Maria "Nana" Gurule'.

Ms. Gurule', 46, passed away on July 4, 2016 at Covenant Health System in Lubbock, TX.

Maria was born on November 22, 1969 in Albuquerque, NM; the daughter of Albert Gurule' and Juanita (Chavez) Gurule'. She was a resident of Albuquerque and returned to Artesia in June.

She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by a brother Ruben Vega.

Survivors are her parents Albert Gurule' of Albuquerque and Juanita Gurule' of Artesia; sons Jenicio Adame of El Paso, TX and Ruben Apodaca of Artesia; daughter Maria Rodriguez of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters Rosie Armenta of San Jose, CA and Sonia Baeza of Artesia; nieces and nephews Vanessa Baeza, Andres Baeza, Alonzo Baeza, Gilbert Armenta, Diego Armenta, Angelica Armenta, Tiffany Heuze and Crystal Howard.
