Margery Adams

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 10, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Margery Jane Adams, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Adams, 80, died Monday, June 7, 2004 in Lubbock, Texas. Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Adams, Daniel Adams, Donnie Adams, III, Murt Sullivan, Gene Clowe, and Jim Clowe. Mrs. Adams was born February 29, 1924 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of D. I. Clowe and Margaret T Reddy Clowe. She married Don H. Adams in Artesia. He preceded her in death in 1997. A lifelong Artesia resident, Margery was a homemaker and member of the Episcopal denomination. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Margaret Lovelady and sister, Avis Sullivan; and by brothers, Francis Ivan Clowe and David E. Clowe. Survivors include a son Donnie Adams and wife Teresa of Artesia; a daughter Margo Rixey and husband Gary of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; grandchildren Shanna Rixey of Williamsburg, N.M., and Donnie H. Adams, III, David Adams, and Daniel Adams all of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
