Margaret Rogers

Private family services are scheduled at a later date for Margaret L. Rogers, 1101 Pecan Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Rogers, 73, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her home.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Margaret was born November 11, 1939 in Borger, Texas the daughter of David Dean Oglevie and Lillian Vera Couch Oglevie. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

On Oct. 2, 1971 she was married to Byron E. Rogers, Sr. in Juarez, Mexico. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 2001.

She attended Cowboy Church near Cross Plains, Texas as often as she could. She loved her family and loved to cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents sisters Irene Santo and Mary Waller and by a brother Clifford Oglevie.

Survivors include daughter Denise Grice of Artesia grandchildren Tiffany of Artesia, and Eric and Jessica of Colorado Springs, Colo. a greatgrandson Brayden sisters Lorene Bute and husband John of Lebanon, Oregon, and Edith Tiner of Pahrump, Nevada and numerous nieces and nephews.
