Marcelina Enriquez

Mrs. Marcelina Valdez Enriquez, 69, of Artesia, N.M., died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Eastern N.M. Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico.

Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Mrs. Enriquez was born January 1, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas the daughter of Victor Valdez and Nicolasa Sauceda Valdez.

She came to Artesia in 1945 from Texas.

Marcelina worked as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her four daughters Corina, Olga, Laurie, and Daniela sisters Mary Ellen Romero of Artesia, Martha Almager of Albuquerque, N.M., Marina Vargas of Artesia, and Margaret Hensley of Artesia brothers Manuel Moreno of Artesia, and Dimas Moreno of Clovis, N.M. 7 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
