Manuel Levario

A visitation is scheduled 12 to 2 pm on Tuesday, October 4 at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Manuel M. Levario of Artesia, New Mexico.

Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Madrid, T.J. Levario, Justin Levario, Augustine Levario, Michael Parra, and Jeff Parra

Mr. Levario, 79, was born on July 25, 1943 in Alpine, Texas; the son of Jesus Levario and Ysidra Mata Levario.

Manuel loved his family and was a hard working cowboy all of his life. He loved taking his kids and family fishing in Agua Chiquita and The Boiling Springs. He was a jack of all trades and a ranchero at Cassebone Ranch, he was a dairy worker, he was a hot oiler and spent every moment he could to provide for his family. He was a man that everyone knew...All of Loco Hills new Manuel Levario. He lived life on his terms and always enjoyed being outdoors. He enjoyed spending most of his days tending to his chickens, roosters, horses and his goats. He spent many winters camping/hunting with the family. He had many life long friends here. He left behind a legacy that none of us will ever forget.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Benny Parra and Jesus "Black" Levario, a daughter Patricia Madrid, and a brother Jesus Levario II, grandson Rowdy Levario.

Survivors include his wife Maria "Seferina" Levario; sons Torivio "Toby" Levario, Daniel Madrid and wife Tanisha; a daughter Berta Venegas and Husband Manuel Venegas; brothers Mike Levario, Leo Levario, Ysidro Levario, and Jesus Jose Levario; sisters Josephina Juarez, Elia Levario, Elena Lara, and Maria Burchett; grandchildren Michael Parra and Stephanie, Jeff Parra and Sharayah, Megan Thurmond and Joel, Misty Jurney, Valerie Venegas and Rick, Vashti Venegas and Jason, Sarah Rodriguez and Sammy, Augustine Levario and Kristina, Angelica Levario, Justin Levario and Kodi, and T.J. Levario and Brea; also by 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
