Manuel Huerta

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Manuel Luis Huerta, 1011 W. Yucca Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Huerta, 37, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 12 p.m. Thursday .

Manuel was born December 2, 1973 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Bentura Huerta and Julia Florez Huerta.

He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister Mary Anne Federico.

Survivors include his mother Julia Huerta of Artesia brother Bentura Huerta Jr. of Denver, Colorado sisters Christine Young of Houston, Texas, Belia Lovato of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lyla Baca of Artesia numerous nieces and nephews.
