Luis Torres

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Friday, March 29 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia, New Mexico for Luis B. Torres, 446 Pearson Road, Lake Arthur, New Mexico. Mr. Torres, 23, died Monday, March 25, 2002, east of Loco Hills, New Mexico. Father Virgilio Flores will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Meni Ramirez, Beto Rangel, Daniel Miranda, Jesus Pacheco, Jorge Rangel and Rafael Torres. A Rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Thursday at Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Torres was born March 15, 1979 in Nasas, Durango, Mexico; the son of Prisiliano Torres and Alicia Gonzalez Torres. He came to Artesia in 1992 from Mexico. In April of 2001 he was married to Patricia Anguiano in Artesia. He was a Calf Keeper for various local dairies and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Patricia Torres of the family home; his parents Prisiliano and Alicia Torres of Lake Arthur; daughters Cinthia Bianels Torres and Mayra Torres both of Lake Arthur; a brother Raphael Torres of Lake Arthur; grandparents Octaviano Torres and Maria De Ia Luz and Jaime and Rufina Gonzalez all of Durango, Mexico.
