Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Ludivico Navarrette Ochoa, Artesia, New Mexico.
Mr. Ochoa, 69, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at his home.
Fr. Martin Cornejo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. His brothers will serve as pallbearers.
A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Monday .
Ludivico was born May 4, 1944 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico the son of Julian Ochoa and Delfina Navarrette Ochoa. He came to Artesia in 1948 from Mexico.
On July 3, 1969 he was married to Vivian Ponce in Carlsbad, NM.
He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He was a Treater for Navajo Refinery. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers Efrain and David Ochoa.
Survivors include his wife Vivian Ochoa of Artesia sons Jaime Anaya of El Paso, Texas, and Damian Ochoa of Artesia daughters Rachel Anaya of El Paso, and Bianca Sillas of Artesia brothers Julian Ochoa of Albuquerque, NM, Ruben Ochoa of Artesia, Lupe Ochoa of Albuquerque, Hector Ochoa of Artesia, Joey Ochoa Artesia, and Alfredo Ochoa of Albuquerque sisters Mary Montes of Artesia, and Ofelia Perez of Artesia grandchildren Dominique Anaya, Adrian Anaya, Sabrina Ochoa, Javyn Sillas, Davian Ochoa, Brianne Anaya, Isabel Sillas, Sienna Ochoa and Thaliya Sillas a greatgranddaughter Jocelyn Anaya.
