Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Faith Baptist Church for Louise Webb of Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Webb, 93, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at her home. PRev. Michael Elliot amp; Cheto Moreno will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Chase, Carol Lockett, Bill Laman, Larry Mohler, Dan Lewis, and Jay Bilberry. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Thompson, Dub Laman, Travis Laman, Cheto Moreno, Cecil Laman, Albert Lopez, Sammie Blount, and Bill Lewis. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. PMrs. Webb was born December 21, 1913 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas; the daughter of Frank Michael and Elizabeth Jones Michael. POn Nov. 30, 1933 she was married to Norbin Webb in Pottau, Oklahoma. She came to Artesia in 1963 from Whiteface, Texas. PShe was a homemaker and member of Faith Baptist Church. She also belonged to the Ladies Fellowship and was a reliable volunteer with all kitchen duties at church. Her hobbies included crafts, sewing, quilting, gardening, camping with the Laman's and the Van Winkle's, and loved to bake. PLouise was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, two sisters, and a grandson.
Survivors include her husband Norbin Webb of the family home; daughter Gayle Singleton of Artesia; grandchildren Tim Singleton of Van Alstyne, Texas, Skip Singleton of Artesia, and Krystal Carnero of Artesia; great-grandchildren Mandy, Tieler, Jacob, Keryssa, and EJ; and a great-great-grandson Ethan.
