Louise Perkins

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, at Terpening Son Chapel for Louise Francis Perkins of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Perkins, 79, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Jack Brannon will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Louise was born June 9, 1931 in Silver City, New Mexico. She was a longtime Artesia area resident.

On September 28, 1996 she was married to Bobby Perkins in Artesia. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister Ruth Cannon.

Louise was an office managerat the credit bureau.

Survivors include her son Rick Thorson and wife Elizabeth of Ellensburg, WA grandchildren Kelly Rottor of Ellensburg, and Sarah Thorson of Ellensburg and greatgrandchildren Faith, Jensen, and Jacob Rottor all of Ellensburg.
