Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 6 at Woodbine Cemetery for Louise M. Clark of Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Clark, 87, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 in Artesia. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Ted Willis, Randy Morse, Ronnie Morse, Shane Clark, Brian Clark, Travis Clark, Danny Moore, Dean Moore, and Leo DeLaRosa. Mrs. Clark was born July 31, 1916 in Mullinsville, Kansas; the daughter of John Henry Auer and Lena Ann Sutton Auer. She came to Artesia in 1947 from Albuquerque, NM. She worked in the meat department at Safeway H J Food Basket and was a seamstress. She was a member of First Baptist Church; and the Women of the Moose. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two grandsons; and by one great-granddaughter. Survivors include daughters Patricia Willis and husband Vernoy of Amarillo, Texas, Carolyn Morse and husband Robert of Artesia, and Grace Moore of Roswell, N.M.; a son Steve Clark and wife Betty of Artesia; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dove Room at Artesia Good Samaritan Center, 1402 Gilchrist, Artesia, NM 88210.
