A come and go reception was held on Friday, May 12, at the Fireside room Hermosa Church of Christ Artesia, New Mexico for Lou Ann Patterson.
Mrs. Patterson, 84, died on May 5, 2023 at her home in Roswell.
Lou was born on December 3, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of William Martin Siegenthaler and Lois Ellen Davis Siegenthaler.
She loved the Lord and had a servants heart like no other. She was always ready to listen and offer a shoulder to cry on, and would prepare a meal for anyone who was hungry. She loved listening to music and had a beautiful singing voice. Her family meant the world to her. She adored her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She always had an encouraging word for everyone, and loved lifting people up.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Lisa Dawn Patterson, sisters Loy Sue Siegenthaler, and Dale Laabs, and a brother Bill Siegenthaler, nephews David Calvert, and Matthew Stavely.
Survivors include her husband Tracy Patterson; children Troy Patterson and wife Katie of High Rolls, New Mexico, Kris Spencer and husband Randy of Artesia, Dena Crouch and husband Randell of Artesia, and Matthew Patterson and wife Dena of Carrizozo, New Mexico; sisters Linda Calvert and husband Don of Artesia, and Kay Beth Stavely and husband Butch of May, Texas.; grandchildren Amanda and Justin Patman, Savannah Karr, Cambree and Dominic Bejarano, Kayla and Chris Kiss, Kassie and Michael Catoni, Kenzie and Tyler Garner, Jordan and Matt Curtin, Jake Patterson, Erik Spencer, Logan and Jessica Spencer, Micah and Tyreesa Spencer, Reese Bailey, McKenna, Lakota, Jarodan and Kaysen Patterson, Ashley Fry, and Cody and Cheyenne Landry; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces Donna Scroggin and husband Tommy, Diana Neel and husband Doug, Denise Sevcik and husband Martin, Lara Siegenthaler and husband Fred, Melissa Craig, Elizabeth Stavely, and nephew Michael Stavely, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
