Lisa Heredia

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, July 20, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Lisa Denise Heredia of Artesia, New Mexico.

Ms. Heredia, 51, died on July 16, 2022 at her home in Artesia.

Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. A rosary is also scheduled for 6 pm Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church.


Lisa was born on August 4, 1970 in Fort Riley, Kansas; the daughter of Toribio M. Heredia and Gloria Cervantez Heredia.

Lisa was the light of the party where ever she went. It didn't matter if she had a beer
in her hand or not, she would prefer it though. She always loved to cook for
everyone no matter who was there she would make sure you ate. All she wanted
was to have her kids and grandkids with her all the time. She loved her grand
babies always wanted them. She loved her family she was the happiest person in a
room. All she wanted was for everyone to get along and be happy. She will forever
be remembered by her kindness and caring heart she would give anyone the
shirt off her back if she had to. One thing she did love with everything in her was her
Dallas cowboys. Called everyone she could to say how about them boys. May she Rest
In Peace always.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother Gloria Heredia; daughters Leticia Galindo, Leslie Araujo, and Leanna Araujo; a brother Toribio R. Heredia; a sister Patricia L. Heredia; grandchildren Elijah Galindo, Isaiah Galindo, and Emmelin Lopez.
