Lila Hatfield

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Lila Mae Hatfield of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Hatfield, 74, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at her home.

Micah Burk will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Davis, Fabian McClean, Christopher Munoz, Johnathon Hebert, Karl Parks, and Jacob George.

Visitation at Terpening & Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m..

On October 9, 1971 she was married to J.A. Hatfield in Wilmington, CA. They came to Artesia in 1973 from California. He preceded her in death March 16, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters.

Lila was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jahovah Witness. Her and J.A. loved to fish and travel.

Survivors include her daughters Catherine Davis of Artesia, Cheryl McClean of Albuquerque, N.M., and Donna Parks and husband Karl of Artesia; son Fabian McClean of Artesia; grandchildren Christopher Munoz, Joshua Davis, and Christina Hebert; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother Ralph Hernandez of Artesia.
