Lenora Kupcak

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, at Terpening Son Chapel for Lenora Kupcak, 2801 W. Grand Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Kupcak, 59, died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Artesia General Hospital.

Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Prescott, Shilo Morgan, Stephen Hooten, Kenneth Hooten, Dalton Morgan, and Richard Morgan.

Mrs. Kupcak was born January 26, 1951 in Eunice, New Mexico the daughter of Marvin Philpott and Bettie Rowland Philpott.

On Jan. 16, 1981 she was married to Steve Kupcak in Carlsbad, N.M. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

She was a housewife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her husband Steve Kupcak of Artesia her father Marvin Philpott of Artesia sons John Michael Ward of Artesia, Steven Prescott of Artesia, and Marcus Prescott of Albuquerque, N.M. daughter Janie Fugate of Artesia sister Seleta Hooten of Carlsbad grandchildren Crisha Morgan, Latosha Fugate and Aaron Fugate greatgrandchild Zane Fugate Muniz.
