Lee Mcgonagill

Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Flora Lee McGonagill, 6326 Seven Rivers Hwy, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. McGonagill, 79, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her home.

Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Sam Bejarano, Charles Mulcock, Virgil Smith, Raynelle Smith, Jacque McFarland,and Harrell Wilson.

Flora was born April 19, 1934 in Hope, New Mexico the daughter of Fred William Mack and Rosa Hope McCabe Mack. She was lifelong area resident.

On Dec. 10, 1955 she was married to Emery McGonagill in Carlsbad, NM.

She was a housewife and a member of St Anthonys Catholic Church. She taught catechism at St. Anthonys, was a Girl Scout leader, active in Democrat politics until husband retired then bought a small R.V. and traveled, she loved everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Margaret Liksich Mack, and a sister Wilma Budd.

Survivors include her husband Emery McGonagill of the home daughter DAun McGonagill Hinkle of Denver, Colorado sister Merle Bennett of Bernalillo, N.M. brothers Bob Mack of Raton, N.M., and Fred Mack of Capulin, N.M. numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
