Lee Caffall

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 30, at Terpening Son Mortuary for Lee Roy Caffall, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Caffall, 83, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Caffall was born January 6, 1921 in Dexter, New Mexico; the son of Thomas Kent Caffall and Mamie Southard Caffall. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. In 1945 he was married to Helen Louise McClemore in Florida. He married Lorraine Nackard in 1973 and was married to Marie Brown in 1982. A lifelong Artesia resident, he was a farmer and rancher; and served as past member of the Good Sam's R.V. Club; and was a former member of Artesia Elks Lodge. Mr. Caffall was preceded in death by his parents; and by a son-in-law Kenny Donaldson. Survivors include his longtime companion Leona Head; daughter Susan Lea Donaldson of Plantersville, Alabama; son Roy Kent Caffall and wife Debbie of Artesia; brother Norman Perry Caffall of Dexter, N.M.; sister Sharon Dean of Roswell, N.M.; grandsons Chad Donaldson, Randy Donaldson, and Johnathon Caffall; and a granddaughter Bethany Bolding.
