Le Mann

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, at Woodbine Cemetery for Le Roy Mann of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Mann, 78, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.

Sister Raye Miller will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Le Roy was born November 25, 1935 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of James Emory Mann and Rachel Bisbee Mann. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On April 4, 1956 he was married to Virginia Hemphill in Artesia.

He was a Welder for Navajo Refinery and had retired in the 1990s. Le Roy was a member of First Baptist Church, and the N.R.A. He was an avid outdoorsman including hunting, fishing, gardening, and a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, a grandson, and 3 greatgranddaughters.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Mann of the family home daughter Diane Heady and husband Dewayne Mayo of Artesia son Emory Mann, Sr. and wife Pamlla of Artesia 9 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren.
