Lawrence Silva

Services are pending for Lawrence Phillip Silva, 708 Bullock Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Silva, 55, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Lawrence was born August 10, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the son of Felipe S. Silva and Rose Chavez Silva. He came to Artesia in September 26, 1989.

On June 9, 1991 he was married to Fran Maxine Henson in Artesia, NM.

He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed bowling, country music, and was involved in the Special Olympics winning numerous medals. Most of all, he loved his wife.

Survivors include his wife Fran Maxine Silva of the family home.
