Lawrence Madrid

Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, December 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Artesia, New Mexico for Lawrence Bryce Madrid of Tomball, Texas. His viewing will be at Terpening & Son Morturay Sunday , December 5, from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Lawrence, 33, died on November 20, 2021 in Tomball.

Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery.

Lawrence was born on January 26, 1988 in Hobbs, New Mexico; the son of Victor Madrid and Rose Fuentes Madrid.

He was married to Maria Maynez on July 30, 2011. He loved spending time with his kids. He was such a loving husband and father. He enjoyed farming, growing peppers and experimenting with many types of pepper seeds, cooking and making salsa. He was an avid collector of sports cards and comic books.

He was preceded in death by his father Victor Madrid, grandparents Victor and Rose Fuentes, and by uncles Tony Fuentes and Adrian Martinez.

Survivors include his wife Maria Madrid; daughters Roselyn Madrid and Penelope Madrid; a son Lawrence Madrid Jr.; mother Rose Madrid; brothers Victor Madrid and wife Dolores, and Eric Madrid; a sister Priscilla Laffery and husband Kevin; grandparents Nazario and Magdalena Madrid; also by 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew.
