Larry Troublefield Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, November 9 at the Hagerman Cemetery, Hagerman, New Mexico for Larry R. Troublefield Jr. of Lakewood, New Mexico. There will be a viewing for Larry at Terpening & Son Mortuary on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 2-6pm.

Mr. Troublefield, 54, died in his home at Red Bluff Lake in Orla, TX on November 2, 2022.

Jimmy Hamilton will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Johnny Washburn, Justin Adkins, Josh Holland, Trey Troublefield, Paul Troublefield, Xavier Hendrix, Leslie Hendrix, David Hendrix, Dusty Starr, and Barney Eckert. Honorary Pallbearers are Barney Eckert Jr., John Robison, and all of Larry's cousins and friends.

Larry was born on January 16, 1968 in Brighton, Colorado; the son of Larry Troublefield Sr. and Betty Joan Harrison Troublefield.

Larry grew up in Artesia. After high school he joined the US Navy where he served on the aircraft carrier the USS Constellation. Following his service in the Navy, Larry returned home to Artesia where he continued his career as a lifelong truck driver. He mainly hauled alfalfa but loved hauling cattle or anything that put him behind the wheel of a truck.
Larry had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a great-nephew Caedyn Adkins.

Survivors include his sons David Hendrix and wife Ashley, and Trey Troublefield and Danielle King; a daughter Katelyn Troublefield; sister Edna Washburn and husband Johnny; grandchildren Xavier, Leslie, and David Hendrix, Adalyn, Nova, and Travis Troublefield, Raelynn Fae, and Hallie Joan Troublefield, Joshua, Autumn, Jason, and Christopher Allen, and Alexis Browning; nephew Justin Adkins and wife Sydney; a niece Nikki Holland and husband Josh; great niece Jaedyn Adkins, and great nephews Hayden and Rhett Adkins, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends he loved as family.
