Larry Sneed

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 7, at Woodbine Cemetery for Larry Wayne Sneed, 2703 W. Richardson Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Sneed, 45, died Monday, August 5, 2002 at Hobbs Health Care in Hobbs, New Mexico. Rev. J. B. Craft will officiate at the services. Mr. Sneed was born May 29, 1957 in Artesia; the son of Virgil Eugene Sneed and Catherine R. Cornwell Sneed. He was a longtime Artesia resident. He was a District Manager for Encore and Driltrol in oilfield sales. He was preceded in death by his father Virgil Sneed in 1970. Survivors include his mother Katy Williams of Artesia; step-father John F. Williams of Artesia; sons Christopher Sneed of Artesia, Joshua Sneed and wife Michelle of San Angelo, Texas; daughter Dana Lynn Sneed of Artesia; brothers Virgil R. Sneed of Amarillo, Texas, Jerald Sneed and wife Linda of Hobbs, NM; sisters Linda K. Cole and husband Gerald of Amarillo, Marsha Folks of Center, N. Dakota; 1 grandchild Colby Sneed of Artesia.
