Larry Davis

Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at First Baptist Church for Larry Dale Davis, 1404 W. Hermosa Drive, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Davis, 59, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Artesia General Hospital.

Joseph Tillery will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery following cremation.

Larry was born May 21, 1952 in San Angelo, Texas the son of Larry B. Davis and Dorothy Gardner Davis. He came to Artesia in 1966 from Big Lake, Texas.

On March 4, 1989 he was married to Vickie Coddington in Artesia, NM.

He was an operator for Indian Basin Gas Plant and a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Vickie Davis of the family home mother Dorothy Davis of Artesia sons Wesley Dale Davis of Artesia, and Josh Davis of Artesia daughters Christy Herrington of Roswell, N.M., Amber Martinez of Levelland, Texa, and Marie Salmon of Artesia sister Cherry Blevins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 13
grandchildren and 2 Greatgranchildren.
