Lamorah White

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at First Christian Church for Lamorah Belle White of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. White, 87, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at her home.

Rev. David Grousnick will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kevin Baggerly, Kevin Hartley, David Hope, Jerry Bell, Lance Bliss, and David Bynum. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Randell, JoAnna Kiss Martin, all of her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and her 4H club members.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. White was born November 14, 1923 in Carney, Oklahoma the daughter of Sidney Thomas Wheeler and Nettie 0. Kissinger Wheeler.

On April 24, 1943 she was married to Henry 0. White in Junction City, Kansas. She came to Artesia in January of 1946 from Coffeen, Illinois. He preceded her in death September 3, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents 2 infant bros sister Perthena Wiley and soninlaw Jerry Rogers.

Belle was a homemaker, a member of First Christian Church, and the Cottonwood 4H. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and loved her sheep and animals.

Survivors include her daughters Jeanne R. Rogers of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ruby H. Randall and husband Anthony of Key Largo, Florida, and Jackie D. BaggerlyBliss and husband Lance of Artesia son Lee S. White and wife Jazmin of Roswell, N.M. 8 grandchildren Desiree Rucks, Deidre Bynum, and Danielle Rogers all of Tesas Kevin Baggerly and Amanda Baggerly of Artesia Kurtis White of Arizona Michael and Gabriel White both of Roswell 14 greatgrandchildren Katherine, Lillian, Ellington, Megan, and Tailor Baggerly, Jaclyn and Ashley Roark, Autsin Bliss, and Seth Miller all of Artesia Justin and Nichole Rucks of Texas Charity Rogers of Ft. Worth Abby and Adien Bynum of Houston, Texas.
