Lajuana Green

Closed casket services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, at Hermosa Drive Church of Christ for LaJuana Loving Green, 1902 W. Washington Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Green, 88, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at her home. Michael Joiner and Roby Zumwalt will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bullock, Jerry Bullock, Tyler Bullock, Sabino Grijalva, Kevin Lillie, Kent Bullock. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Green was born July 12, 1920 in Rule, Texas; the daughter of Elmer Frazier and Ruby Ferguson Frazier. She came to Artesia in 1930 from Texas. She was married to Ormond Loving on March 14, 1941 in Artesia. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1987. On Aug. 8, 1989 she was married to James K. Green in Roswell, NM. He preceded her in death Aug. 10, 2006. She was a homemaker and member of Hermosa Drive Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a son Jimmy Loving, a sister Darlene Howard and a step-son Ken Green. Survivors include son Gary D. Loving and wife Nancy of Eagar, Arizona; daughter Shary S. Bullcok and husband Rob of Hope, N.M.; step-son Walt Green and wife Stacy of Artesia; step-daughter-in-law Mary Lois Green of Artesia; grandchildren Sara Grijalva and husband Sabino of Socorro, N.M., Anne Lillie and husband Kevin of Tucson, Arizona, Jerry Bullock of Capitan, N.M., Jimmy Bullock of Ruidoso, N.M., Buddy Bullock and wife Heather of Tustin, Calif., and Janell Loving of Albuquerque, N.M.; 7 great-grandchildren; also survived by numerous friends and caregivers. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Hospice, 1300 N. Canal, Carlsbad, N.M.
