Kristopher Luna

Funeral mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 24, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Kristopher J. Luna of Hagerman, N.M.

Mr. Luna, 40, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fr. Frances Lazer will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Carrizozo, N.M. at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Alex Males, Johnny Luna, Jimmy Delgado, Ray Chavarria, III., Daniel Madrid, Steve Berdoza, Giovanni Molina and Nathan Berdoza. Honorary pallbearers will be D'Mario Chavarria, Xavian Vela and DNow co- workers.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary Sunday from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited Monday at St. Anthony's at 9:00 a.m.

Kristopher was born April 4, 1978 in Alamogordo, N.M., the son of Robert Luna and Beatrice (Lucero) Luna.

He found his faith and strength in his church family of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Kris met many friends through his employment having worked at K-Mart, Napa, Light Tower Rentals, Guy Chevrolet and ending with DNow were he worked with some of the most caring and loving co-workers. Kris's passion was photography capturing beautiful landscapes and special moments of his family and friends. Kris was a member of Pure Illusionz Car Club where he enjoyed showing off his car and loud speakers and where he enjoyed spending time with his brothers of the Car Club. He also enjoyed hunting along side his father in-law and brother in-law. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. When not working Kris enjoy spending time with the love of his life. He was a family oriented man enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews being their role model and playing a big part in raising them.

Kris is survived by his wife, Rhonda Luna of the family home. His mother Beatrice Luna of Corrales. Sisters Zanetta Granado of Oklahoma, Dina Glover and husband Mark of Artesia. Brother Johnny Luna and wife Yvonne of Roswell. Father in-law and mother in-law Ray and Gina Chavarria of Lake Arthur, Brother in-law Ray Chavarria and wife Liliana of Artesia, Sister in-law Regina Chavarria and Renee Chavarria of Lake Arthur. Nephews Gary Luna, Alex Males, D'Mario Chavarria and Xavian Vela. Nieces Alisha Franco, Johanna Luna, Amber Luna, Allyson Males, Hannah Molina, Abigail Berdoza, Bethany Chavarria, Danessa Vela, Destiny Chavarria and Matilda Chavarria. Numerous aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews.

Kris was preceded in death by his father Robert Luna and Grandparents Orlando and Erlinda Lucero and Ramon and Crusita Luna.
